Job description

The role of the senior creditors clerk is to assist in providing oversight over the creditors team and provide reporting support to the Creditors and Facilities Management and Financial Manager.

Duties:
  • Review of expense capturing reports from creditor clerks and capturing of
  • expenses when required
  • Utility bill schedule and reconciliation
  • Dealing with City of Cape Town with regards to any council accounts/queries
  • Creditors reconciliation review
  • Review of receipting schedule
  • Review of bank reconciliations
  • Supplier age analysis review
  • Accruals preparation for review
  • Review of inter-company loan accounts
  • 10.Assist with queries during audit
  • 11.Expense vs recoveries analysis
  • 12.Updating and maintaining of the B-BBEE procurement schedule
  • 13.Liaise with operations, procurement and suppliers
  • 14.Other duties as reasonably required by management
Key Competencies / Skills
  • Accounting degree
  • 2-3 years experience in similar role
  • Property experience is advantageous
  • MDA Property Manager knowledge will be an advantage
  • Good Excel Skills
  • Analytical, organisational, interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Ability to work under pressure
