About the Role

A Senior Credit Controller is responsible for leading credit control activities to ensure timely collection of receivables, minimize bad debt, and support healthy cash flow.

Key Responsibilities

• Cash Collections & Maintaining AGE Analysis (Healthy DSOs)
• Minimize Bad Debt and Increase Cash Flow
• Investigating and Resolving Queries
• Debtors Reconciliations
• Daily Cash Receipting with remittance advice
• Credit Notes & Journals Preparations and Applications
• Liaising with Client and 3rd Party's to resolve account dispute speedily
• Meeting KPA Targets
• Collections to Hand Over
• Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor/manager
• Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements

• Grade 12 + with a Diploma in Credit Management
• At least 5‑10 years’ experience as Corporate Credit Controller
• Strong understanding of credit control or accounts receivable management
• Must have managed a book value of R300m+ with various legal entities & Foreign currencies
• Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Other Accounting Software (MS Office, AX)
• Attention to Detail and High level of accuracy
