Job summary

A leading South African agricultural company is looking for a Senior Credit Controller to join their Meadow Feeds branch in Randfontein. This role involves leading credit controllers, managing the debtors function, conducting credit risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of credit control experience, preferably in manufacturing or agriculture, along with strong Excel skills and a proven ability to lead teams in a high-pressure environment.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years’ experience in credit control, with supervisory experience.
• Experience in manufacturing or agricultural industries preferred.
• Strong computer literacy including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and supervise credit controllers and a debtors clerk.
• Manage the full debtors function including collections and reconciliations.
• Conduct credit risk assessments and approve/decline credit applications.
• Build relationships with key customers and sales teams.
• Investigate and resolve account discrepancies and escalated queries.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts and monthly debtor reports.
• Ensure compliance with credit policies and regulations.
