Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a Control Systems Engineer located in South Africa, preferably around Somerset West. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and test control systems tailored to client specifications. Required qualifications include a B.Eng or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, with at least 5 years of relevant experience in industrial automation and strong skills in PLC programming and SCADA development. The position demands attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of operational and design experience in industry.
• 5-10 years of relevant industrial automation experience.
• Intermediate to advanced understanding of PLC programming.
• Experience with two or more automation platforms like Siemens, Schneider, Allen Bradley.
• Exposure to FMCG, Food and Beverage, and Milling industries is advantageous.
