Job summary

Dixie Recruitment in Durban is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead major building and civils initiatives across South Africa. You’ll drive on-site execution, align with client objectives, and coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and within quality standards.

The ideal candidate has an NC or ND Civil/Building Science, SACPCMP registration, 10+ years’ technical leadership, and a proven ability to manage diverse teams, schedules, and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• N6-Civil Engineering, ND in Civil Engineering or Building Science is required.
• Registration with SACPCMP is mandatory.
• Over 10 years of technical experience in the building industry.
• Proven leadership skills and ability to manage diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor construction schedules and quality standards.
• Coordinate various project stakeholders effectively.
• Ensure accurate site records and documentation.
• Address project challenges proactively through regular site reviews.
• Promote health and safety standards across project sites.
• Lead meetings with sub-contractors and site staff to discuss progress.
