Job description

A global offshoreEPCI contractor, known for delivering some of the Middle East's largest offshore projects, is seeking experienced engineers.

To accelerate hiring, their leadership will be in Cape Town this October for face‑to‑face interviews with shortlisted candidates.

Duties
  • Assist the Offshore Construction Manager (OCM) in preparing offshore project deliverables.
  • Attend strategy and kick‑off meetings to finalize offshore execution plans.
  • Develop construction schedules in line with project milestones and barge availability.
  • Conduct techno‑commercial analysis to optimize offshore installation costs.
  • Review engineering documents / drawings for constructability.
  • Prepare work scopes, schedules, and bridging documents for subcontracted works.
  • Act as focal point for subcontractor communications and monitor progress.
  • Support preparation of purchase requisitions for offshore project materials.
  • Coordinate across departments and attend methods meetings for installation procedures.
  • Review anchor patterns, installation drawings, and subcontractor invoices.
  • Ensure HSE and quality systems are implemented throughout project execution.
  • Conduct HSE audits and site tours during offshore operations.
  • Participate in project quality audits and lessons‑learned documentation.
  • Support project close‑out by compiling documentation and reports.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Naval Engineering.
  • 8+ years' offshore construction experience.
  • Strong commercial, financial, and contractual awareness.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Leadership, communication, and multi‑discipline coordination skills.
