Placements24 is seeking a Senior Communications Manager to lead public relations and corporate communications, shaping compelling narratives and aligning messaging with business objectives. This is a fully remote role, allowing you to work from anywhere in South Africa, while guiding a communications team and collaborating with the C-suite.

You will develop and execute integrated strategies, oversee media relations, manage crises, and mentor staff.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
• 8–10 years of progressive corporate communications/PR experience, with at least 3 years in a management role.
• Proven media campaigns and crisis management experience.
• Strong strategic thinking, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience advising C-suite on communication matters.
• Ability to manage complex remote projects and teams.
