Job summary

A leading aviation technology company in South Africa seeks an experienced professional to support Communication, Navigation, and Surveillance systems vital for Air Traffic Control. Responsibilities include ensuring system effectiveness, translating user requirements, and providing specialist advice on technology solutions. The ideal candidate will have a B.Sc. or B.Eng. in Engineering, along with 5 years of experience in electronic engineering and in-depth knowledge of ATM processes. This role involves collaboration with stakeholders, managing system capacity forecasts, and conducting training programs.

Qualifications

• 5 years' experience in a high-technology electronic engineering environment.
• In-depth knowledge of planning, implementing, and supporting CNS and ATM systems.
• Specialised knowledge of ATM / CNS system architecture and configuration.

Responsibilities

• Ensure CNS display systems are effective for Air Traffic Management services.
• Translate user requirements into functional specifications.
• Provide input to RFP specifications and participate in FAT/SAT.
• Recommend technology direction related to systems and integration technologies.
