Placements24 is seeking a Senior Clinical Research Scientist to join our Richards Bay team, KwaZulu-Natal, leading the design and oversight of clinical trials for novel therapies. You will ensure scientific integrity, ethics, and regulatory compliance from protocol development through data analysis and reporting.

The role requires a PhD or MSc, 7+ years in clinical research focusing on trial design and management, and strong collaboration with R&D, regulatory, and medical affairs teams.

Formación

• Experience in study protocol development and trial design.
• Strong knowledge of GCP, ICH guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to manage multi-center clinical trials.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the development and refinement of clinical trial protocols.
• Oversee operational execution, timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Ensure compliance with GCP, ICH guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with investigators and internal teams to ensure safety and data integrity.
• Analyze data and contribute to study reports and regulatory submissions.
• Manage relationships with CROs and external vendors.
• Provide scientific expertise to study teams throughout the trial lifecycle.
• Identify and evaluate new clinical research opportunities.
• Stay updated with literature, trends, and regulatory changes.
• Deliver scientific presentations to stakeholders.
