About the Role

The Senior Claims Technician will play a key role in our Claims team, responsible for efficiently and professionally settling personal and commercial short-term insurance claims.

This position requires a confident and experienced individual who can work under binder agreements and uphold our reputation for exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and settle personal and commercial short-term insurance claims
• Operate within the binder agreements and handle claims settlement mandates
• Liaise with insurers, clients, and service providers
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal processes
• Provide support and guidance to junior claims staff
• Maintain accurate records using Cardinal CCheck and sign off on claims

Requirements

• 5 – 10 years of experience in short-term insurance claims (personal & commercial lines)
• Proven ability to manage claims settling mandates as a Solid Binder Broker
• Must have FAIS accreditation and RE certification
• Experience with the Cardinal C system is required

Must reside within a 15km radius of the office - proximity is crucial for this role

Previous management or supervisory experience will be a strong advantage
