Are you passionate about creating sustainable and innovative water and sanitation systems? Were looking for a Senior Engineer / Technologist who is ready to make a lasting impact by leading projects that improve lives and protect our environment.

In this pivotal role, you will design, administer, and implement engineering projects ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. Youll also play a key mentorship role, guiding Junior Engineers and driving technical excellence across the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and prepare detailed engineering plans for: Bulk water networks, sanitation systems, stormwater, hydrology, pump stations, pipelines, and urban drainage.
• Oversee the full project lifecycle from feasibility studies and costing to construction and close-out.
• Develop specifications, contracts, and technical documentation.
• Manage project budgets, monitor costs, and ensure quality assurance and safety compliance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, contractors, and authorities to ensure successful project delivery.
• Mentor and support Junior and Graduate Engineers.

Job Experience & Skills Required (Ideal Candidate Profile)

• Education : BEng / BSc Eng / BTech in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
• Registration : Pr Eng or Pr Tech (ECSA)
• Experience : Minimum 8 years in Water & Sanitation Engineering Consulting, including design and site-based project work.
• Technical Skills :
  • Proficiency in: AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Civil Designer, HECRAS, EPANET, Model Maker, Surge Analysis Software, and Stormwater Software
• Microsoft Office & MS Projects
• Strong project management, budgeting, and cost control skills
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and Environmental, Health & Safety regulations
