About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Civil Project Engineer to lead and manage key infrastructure initiatives from their Klerksdorp base, with the flexibility of remote work. This pivotal role involves overseeing all phases of project development, from conceptualization and planning through to design, construction, and commissioning. You will be instrumental in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, supporting critical infrastructure development in the North West province. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design, and execution of complex civil engineering projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives and project scope.
• Manage project teams, including engineers, technicians, and external consultants, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation, proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
• Ensure all projects comply with relevant engineering standards, building codes, safety regulations, and environmental policies.
• Oversee procurement processes, contract administration, and manage relationships with contractors and suppliers.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and problem-solving expertise to project teams, ensuring high-quality deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; Master's degree preferred.
• Professional Engineer (Pr.Eng) registration with ECSA.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in civil engineering project management and design.
• Demonstrated success in managing large-scale infrastructure projects from inception to completion.
• Expertise in project management software and methodologies.
• Proven leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, essential for remote collaboration.
