The Role: Senior CAD Operator (Customer Support Consultant)

This role bridges technical expertise and customer engagement. As a Senior CAD Operator, you will support clients in the civil engineering infrastructure design space, providing training, troubleshooting, and insights that shape the software's future. You will play a vital role in enhancing user experience while contributing to the ongoing evolution of industry-leading tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to clients on Civil Designer and/or Civil 3D software
  • Deliver client training sessions and classroom-based workshops
  • Present software solutions to potential clients and assist with product demonstrations
  • Support existing clients in licence renewals and usage optimisation
  • Gather and document industry requirements to guide future software development
  • Create video-based tutorials and screen captures to support learning
  • Travel occasionally (up to one week per month) to provide client support and training
About You
  • 3 to 10 years experience in the civil infrastructure design sector
  • Minimum 3 years hands-on experience with Civil Designer and/or Civil 3D
  • Preferably with hydraulic/reticulation design background
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office and web-based CRM tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Confident presenter with ability to deliver classroom training
  • Strong relationship-building skills with a client-focused approach
  • Code 8 drivers licence with own transport
  • Video (screen capture) creation skills advantageous
