Requirements include matric, a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, CA(SA) status, advanced MS Office skills, and knowledge of Tax Laws and IFRS. A Code 8 licence or own vehicle is preferred.

Qualifications

• Matric or higher.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Must be registered CA(SA).
• 5+ years of accounting experience in Motor Industry advantageous.
• Advanced MS Office experience.
• Working knowledge of Tax Laws and IFRS.
• Code 8 licence / own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating accounting functions and programs.
• Preparing financial analyses and reports.
• Preparing consolidation financial report from different branches and subsidiaries.
• Assisting with preparing and monitoring budgets.
• Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
• Assisting with annual audit preparations.
• Investigating and resolving audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of noncompliance.
• Preparing tax returns.
• Contributing to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures.
• Performing other accounting duties and supporting junior staff as required or assigned.
