e-Merge IT Recruitment seeks an Intermediate to Senior C#/.NET Engineer for Sandton, in the banking and insurance tech space. You will deliver scalable software, translate business needs into robust applications, and harness cloud platforms to modernise systems.

A strong foundation in software engineering and problem solving is essential. You will work across full-stack development, build RESTful APIs, and apply best practices in design, testing and deployment.

Formación

• 6+ years of software engineering experience, delivering production software at scale.
• Proficient in C# or Java; degree in CS/engineering is a plus.
• Strong understanding of design patterns and scalable architectures.
• REST API design with ASP.NET Core or Spring Boot.
• Strong Python and web framework experience.
• Relational databases and data modeling (SQL Server, Azure SQL, Postgres).
• DevOps fluency: CI/CD, IaC, Docker, Kubernetes, microservices.
• Full-stack exposure: front-end and back-end development.
