About the job Senior Business Analyst III (Payments)

Key purpose:

This is an exciting opportunity for you to join our dynamic team of Business Analysts at The company. You will work on cutting-edge technologies and contribute to high-profile, complex projects that require expert business, process, and technology insights. Duties and responsibilities:

  • Perform high-level analysis activities in the CE cycle, including unpacking features and identifying impacts and dependencies.
  • Identify areas for improvement in current business environments and shared processes.
  • Contribute to business strategy and stay updated on retail industry trends.
  • Operate confidently across multiple domains, systems, and processes, considering enterprise-wide impacts.
  • Analyze customer impacts and operational areas using user journeys and research.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document requirements.
  • Assess business implications and propose process improvements and alternatives.
  • Evaluate risks, costs, and benefits of process designs.
  • Define and guide the implementation of business rules.
  • Lead change initiatives and own knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Work closely with architects, designers, and stakeholders to evaluate solutions.
  • Advise on technical solutions and business design options.
  • Mentor junior and intermediate Business Analysts.
  • Build trust with stakeholders by ensuring delivery and providing ongoing support.
  • Manage vendor relationships when projects involve third parties.
  • Ensure high-quality delivery and monitor project timelines and costs.
  • Research and identify opportunities to add value and improve offerings.
  • Lead in solution scoping, business problem analysis, and data requirements mapping.
  • Drive change management for User Acceptance Testing.
  • Create clear and comprehensive business requirement specifications.
  • Coordinate interdependencies and resolve issues across teams.
  • Contribute to the development of the Business Analysis practice within the organization.
  • Participate in Communities of Practice to share knowledge and learn.
  • Promote best practices and standards for Business Analysis.
  • Foster a team-oriented environment with open communication.
  • Maintain awareness of external developments and continuously develop technical skills.

Qualifications and experience:

  • Degree with 5 to 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Advanced Business Analysis certification (CBAP, AAC, or similar).
  • Experience across all SDLC phases.
  • Business Process Management expertise.
