A leading Financial Services Group's Investment Cluster is seeking a top-tier professional to drive its Business Process Automation (BPA) capability.

This high-impact, temporary role, based in Centurion, Gauteng, offers the opportunity to translate ambiguous, complex business challenges into clear, technical solutions that significantly improve operations across the cluster.If you have a knack for leading multi-stakeholder initiatives and possess deep technical knowledge of process automation platforms, we want you to be the driving force behind our operational excellence.

Responsibilities

You will serve as the expert analyst, responsible for identifying, modeling, and designing automated solutions to complex business constraints.Strategic Leadership Lead and manage complex business analysis efforts, determining system requirements and identifying key areas for improvement and automation across the investment business.Process Mastery Define, document, and conduct end-to-end process analysis and design using BPMN and UML tools, ensuring solutions align perfectly with business objectives and user experience.Technical Translation Translate complex functional and non-functional requirements into highly detailed artifacts suitable for implementation (e.g., user stories with acceptance criteria, data models, business rules, and mockups).Automation Blueprint Collaborate with architects to define service boundaries, integration touchpoints, and leverage your experience with automation platforms (such as IBM BAW, Appian, Camunda) and API-driven process orchestration to define the automation blueprint.Quality & Standards Partner closely with QA and technical teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.You will also contribute to continuous improvement of BA methodologies in alignment with IIBA standards.

Qualifications and Experience

Experience A minimum of 10+ years experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 3 years in the investment environment.Automation Expertise Proven experience in business process analysis and modeling using BPMN 2.0 or equivalent.Demonstrated experience with specific process automation platforms is required.Technical Foundation Proficient in BPMN 2.0 tools (e.g., Bizagi), able to produce UML diagrams, and comfortable working with SQL for data validation.Education A BCom Informatics or BSC Degree is required.A Diploma in Business Analysis is preferred.Methodology Experience with Agile delivery frameworks and use of JIRA / Confluence.Our client is looking for a naturally curious and methodical analyst who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and influence decision-making through data and process insights.
