Knowledge and Experience Required
- A degree at NQF Level 7 / 8 or equivalent (preferably in IT, Business, Finance, or Data).
- 5+ years' experience in the Financial Services industry, ideally on major transformation initiatives.
- Strong experience in data management, business rule validation, and data sharing frameworks.
- Business Analysis certification (e.g. TOGAF, BIZBOK or equivalent).
- Practical experience in Agile delivery environments.
- Knowledge of system integration, process mapping, and regulatory reporting.
- Strong communication skills to translate technical concepts to business users and vice versa.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include
- Collaborating with business stakeholders to document and update system workflows, operating models, processes, and rules.
- Drafting user stories and acceptance criteria in close partnership with Business Owners and Product Owners.
- Validating functional requirements and refining the Business Requirements Specification (BRS) as needed.
- Acting as the critical liaison between business stakeholders and system vendors.
- Supporting the update and maintenance of system documentation including manuals and user guides.
- Participating in User Acceptance Testing and monitoring requirement implementation quality.
- Engaging with architects and developers to ensure correct technical implementation.
- Managing ongoing change requirements and driving Agile ways of working throughout the programme lifecycle.
