Job Mission / Objective

The Senior Business Analyst supports the Alliance Banking Integration Manager by analyzing the impact of partner technology integrations on business operations. This role is responsible for documenting technical and process flows, conducting data analysis on partner performance, and providing insights to support operational resilience.

The Senior Business Analyst collaborates with both business and technical teams to ensure that partner onboarding and integration projects align with business needs.

Reports to: Alliance Banking Integration Manager

Main Responsibilities

Analyzing the Impact of the partner technology integrations on business operations.

Analyze how the integration of partner technologies affects the existing business processes, workflows, and systems.

Evaluate the advantages of the technology integration (e.g., cost savings, improved efficiency) as well as potential risks or operational challenges.

Track key performance indicators (KPIs) before and after the integration to assess improvements or areas requiring further optimization.

Prepare reports and presentations that summarize the integration's impact, including potential areas for optimization or further investment.

Documenting Technical and Process Flows

Develop clear and comprehensive process flow diagrams to illustrate how the partner technology integrations fit into existing business operations.

Track key metrics related to partner performance, such as transaction volumes, error rates, customer satisfaction, and service-level agreements (SLAs).

Analyze data to uncover trends in partner performance, such as seasonal fluctuations or correlations with other business factors.

Capture technical specifications and integration requirements, including data flow diagrams, system architecture, and interface details.

Compare the performance of different partners to identify top‑performing partners or areas where improvements are needed.

Track the effectiveness of initiatives aimed at enhancing partner performance, using data to measure progress over time.

Providing insights to support operational resilience.

Identify potential risks to operational resilience from partner technology integrations, such as system dependencies, data breaches, or service disruptions.

Recommend strategies and measures to reduce identified risks and enhance the resilience of critical business processes.

Assess the potential impact of operational disruptions of integrated systems on business continuity and propose plans to minimize downtime.

Analyze processes to identify dependencies on specific partners or systems that could affect operational resilience.

Create reports that provide insights into the Alliance Bank's resilience capabilities and highlight areas for improvement.

Evaluate the resilience practices of partners, ensuring that they align with the Alliance Banking divisions' standards and expectations for operational continuity.

Stakeholder and Partner Engagement

The role requires the individual to work with different departments (e.g., IT, operations, finance) to understand how the integration affects the Alliance Banking operations, as well as the banks' operations.

Engage with partners to understand their technology capabilities and any issues arising from the integration.

Business Planning / Decision Making

The Senior Business Analyst supports business planning by analyzing data, developing strategic initiatives, and aligning projects with organizational goals.

Policies and Procedures

Identify any operational, security, or regulatory risks associated with the integration and propose mitigation strategies.

Verify that the integration complies with relevant regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Evaluate the impact of technology integration on data privacy and security, ensuring appropriate measures are in place.
