Job Summary

The Senior Brand Manager will support the Africa Eurasia Division Personal Care Marketing department in Johannesburg, South Africa. The role reports to the Personal Care & Home Care Marketing Director and works within an international team to define and execute brand innovation and communication strategy for the Protex brand regionally. Travel required: up to 10% of time.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Protex brand: develop the Brand Growth Plan, innovation pipeline and communication plans that drive growth for the region.
• Interact daily with the Global Marketing team, cross‑functional teams and communication agency partners to develop and strengthen equity‑building plans.
• Lead and coordinate innovation development with R&D, Regulatory, Legal, Supply Chain and Design/Packaging teams, leveraging insights and data analytics to build fact‑based recommendations.
• Develop and execute Protex innovation and activation plans in partnership with the three main hubs—South Africa, East West Africa & Turkey (Cace)—to ensure best‑in‑class commercial execution and consistency.
• Track in‑market performance and financial KPIs to identify new volume and margin growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum six (6) years of progressive, relevant marketing experience; specific experience in innovation a plus.
• Functional experience in marketing implementation, successful marketing plans, new products, and digital campaign development.
• Experience managing relationships with senior individuals and operating within a demanding, fast‑paced environment.
• Experience managing complex projects and external suppliers.
• Open to gaining international experience across different markets and environments.
