Job summary

You will oversee monthly management accounts, cash flow and year-end statements, with exposure to audits and budgets. Advanced Excel and QuickBooks experience are essential, with multi-entity handling a plus.

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ full-function bookkeeping experience in a stock-bearing environment.
• Proven experience managing the finances of multiple entities and supervising/mentoring junior finance staff.
• Accounting Diploma (min 24 months) or relevant Accounting/Finance Degree with Matric HG.
• Strong hands-on VAT, PAYE, UIF & SDL experience.
• Strong knowledge of GL, Trial Balance, journals, reconciliations, stock control and monthly stock takes.
• Proven experience preparing monthly management accounts, cash flow, age analyses and annual financial statements.
• Experience with external audits, audit working papers, budgets and forecasts.
• QuickBooks experience highly preferred; Sage/Pastel/Xero advantageous.
• Advanced Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting.
• Registered with a recognised professional accounting body.
• Must be accurate, analytical, disciplined, confidential and able to work under pressure.
