Job summary

Top Vitae Recruitment seeks a meticulous Bookkeeper to manage the full accounting function across multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial information and reporting to the Head of Operations & Finance.

The role requires an analytical, detail-oriented professional with ERP experience, Sage Business Cloud, inventory handling, and the ability to work under pressure in a deadline-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Financial Accounting Degree or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 5 years' bookkeeping experience.
• Proven experience with Sage Business Cloud.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Shopify / E-commerce experience advantageous.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles.
• Experience working with inventory and ERP systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Effective communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports for review.
• Reconciling all balance sheet accounts including inventory.
• Maintaining fixed asset registers and ensuring asset integrity.
• Performing daily bank processing and monthly bank reconciliations.
• Updating inventory counts, cost prices, and selling prices within ERP systems.
• Processing and reconciling intercompany balances and transactions.
• Ensuring financial data integrity across all ERP systems.
• Processing and reconciling debtor and creditor accounts.
• Maintaining accurate financial records and filing systems.
