Job summary

A well-established manufacturing company in the southern Gauteng region is seeking an experienced Senior Bookkeeper. The role involves managing day-to-day financial management, reporting, and operational support within the finance department. Ideal candidates should have at least 5 years of bookkeeping experience in a production environment, proficiency in Sage Evolution, and strong analytical skills. Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Sage Evolution (or similar ERP/accounting package) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with supplier management and import documentation advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Process supplier invoices, payments, and statements timeously.
  • Support cost control, stock management, and procurement processes.
  • Prepare for annual financial reviews and compliance reporting.

This position requires hands-on accounting experience in a production environment and the ability to work confidently across multiple business functions.

Responsibilities
  • Manage full accounting function up to trial balance.
  • Maintain accurate financial records, reconciliations, and reporting.
  • Process supplier invoices, payments, and statements timeously.
  • Support cost control, stock management, and procurement processes.
  • Prepare for annual financial reviews and compliance reporting.
