Qualifications

  • Years of experience as a Full Function Senior Bookkeeper in a busy Small/Medium Company.
  • Ability to work from Recon to Balance Sheet and create a detailed Pricing Schedule.
  • Experience with multiple stock items and managing Cost of Sales.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and update Cost of Sales and Pricing Schedule.
  • Interact with Sales, Drivers, and the Warehouse daily.
  • Handle multiple tasks and month-end deadlines with calmness.

Profitable, Busy, Mid-sized Company that Procures and Distributes a large variety of Food Products to Restaurants and Small Hotels, requires a Seasoned, Competent and Accurate Senior Bookkeeper to be the "right hand" to a Busy, Straightforward MD, who has built up a large number of loyal Clients over the years, because he is reliable, trustworthy and customer focused

Duties & Responsibilities

The ideal fit is a Lady who has worked in a Similar Business, where there is a lot of stock movement daily.

You must be able to work from Recon to Balance Sheet, Monitor and Update Cost of Sales, and a detailed Pricing Schedule monthly, interact with Sales, Drivers and the Warehouse daily, and be completely Customer and Company focused.

You will be the "Go To" Person, so will need to be calm when handling pressure, multiple tasks and month-end deadlines.

This Role offers a work/life balance for a busy Lady who works hard, but who needs to get home to take care of the family at the end of the day. You will be replacing the Senior Bookkeeper who has worked for the Company for 19 years, so you have big shoes to fill – if you have what it takes, please apply now.

Desired Experience & Qualification
  • Bookkeeping Diploma or QBE Bookkeeper years' experience as a Full Function Senior Bookkeeper in a busy Small / Medium Company, reporting directly to the MD.
  • Cost of Sales on Multiple Stock Items and Pricing Schedule experience not negotiable.
  • Pastel Evolution secured.
  • Solid Excel Skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication a must.
  • Own car a must.
