Senior Bookkeeper & Office Administrator – Century – Cape Town, Western Cape – Salary: R25–R30 per month (depending on experience)

About Us: We are a fast-growing property development company based in Cape Town, focused on high-quality residential and mixed‑use projects.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Financial Management: Record and reconcile daily financial transactions across multiple entities. Manage accounts payable and receivable (invoices, payments, receipts, follow‑ups). Maintain bank accounts and perform reconciliations. Process supplier invoices and prepare bi‑weekly payment runs. Assist with monthly management reports and financial statements. Support external accountants with audits, tax, and compliance. Maintain cash flow forecasts and support project‑level cost tracking.

Administration & Office Support

Oversee general office administration and ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations. Manage supplier documentation, contracts, and filing systems. Liaise with contractors, banks, and professional service providers. Assist management with ad‑hoc administrative and project coordination tasks. Ensure deadlines are met and maintain a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.

Requirements

Minimum 5+ years' experience in bookkeeping or accounting role. Relevant qualification (Bookkeeping, Accounting, or Finance). Proficiency in Xero, Excel, and Google Workspace. Strong attention to detail and analytical ability. Excellent organisational and communication skills. Valid driver's licence and own vehicle (essential). Experience in property development or real estate will be a distinct advantage.
