Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Senior Blockchain Security Engineer for a fully remote position to safeguard blockchain infrastructure, smart contracts, and digital assets across decentralized platforms.

You will lead security initiatives, conduct audits, and develop cutting-edge solutions while collaborating with development teams to embed best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in cybersecurity with a focus on blockchain security.
• Expert knowledge of smart contract vulnerabilities (e.g., reentrancy, integer overflows) and mitigations.
• Proficiency in security analysis tools, code review, and penetration testing for blockchain systems.
• Strong understanding of cryptography, consensus mechanisms, and distributed ledgers.
• Experience with Solidity and blockchain development frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead security architectures for blockchain platforms and applications.
• Perform audits and penetration tests of smart contracts and dApps.
• Develop security policies, incident response plans, and best practices.
