Placements24 is seeking a Senior Blockchain Engineer to join their fully remote team. You will lead the design and implementation of scalable blockchain architectures, develop smart contracts, and guide junior engineers across projects.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in blockchain, strong cryptography knowledge, and experience with Solidity, Vyper, or Rust; familiarity with Hardhat/Truffle/Brownie; and cloud infra.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and optimization of complex blockchain architectures and protocols.
Architect, build, and maintain scalable and secure decentralized applications (dApps) and smart contracts.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior blockchain engineers.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and research, to translate requirements into technical specifications.
Oversee the entire development lifecycle, from conception to deployment and maintenance.
Identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities within blockchain networks and applications.
Conduct in-depth research into emerging blockchain technologies and propose innovative solutions.
Drive best practices in code quality, testing, and deployment for blockchain projects.
Represent the technical vision for blockchain initiatives within the company.

Requirements

Extensive experience (5+ years) in blockchain development and engineering.
Deep understanding of blockchain principles, consensus mechanisms, and cryptography.
Expertise in smart contract development languages such as Solidity, Vyper, or Rust.
Proven experience in architecting and deploying large-scale blockchain solutions.
Proficiency with development frameworks like Hardhat, Truffle, or Brownie.
