Job purpose : Understand business intelligence, data integration, data warehousing, modelling, database administration, and technical aspects of BI systems.Take the data in its raw form, dissect it to see patterns, trends, outliers, using business intelligence tools and collaborate with the technology and business teams to build effective solutions.

Key responsibilities and outputs : GeneralData Governance and Security : Implement data governance practices, including data access controls, role-level security, and data lineage documentation.

Ensure compliance with data protection regulations.Collaboration and Requirements Gathering : Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, and end-users to gather and refine requirements for required solutions.

Function as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders.Project Management : Project management skills to plan, execute, and manage projects, including scoping, time management, and meeting deadlines.

Implement advanced features like bookmarks, drill-through actions, custom themes, and custom visuals.Data Transformation and ETL : Handle more complex data transformation and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, including handling data from multiple sources and dealing with complex data structures.Support and AnalysisAdvanced Data Analysis : Perform complex data analysis tasks using DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) functions to create calculated measures and solve intricate business problems.

Develop advanced DAX calculations for financial, statistical, or performance analysis.Performance Optimisation : Optimise report and dashboard performance by improving data queries, data model efficiency, and report rendering speed.
