Job summary

Xcede Group in Durban is seeking an Intermediate/Senior BI Developer to join on a permanent basis in a hybrid structure. You will develop data solutions with Azure Synapse, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, and Power BI, delivering BI across multiple clients and maintaining reports and dashboards.

The role requires 5+ years BI experience, strong SQL, data warehousing know-how, and collaboration skills. Microsoft certifications are a plus and the team values independent work as well as team contributions.

Qualifications

• IT-related diploma/degree/certificates.
• 5+ years' BI development with Azure Synapse, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS and Power BI.
• Microsoft certifications would be advantageous.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with large datasets.
• Experience with data modelling and data warehousing.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with Kimball methodology.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

One of our clients, with offices all over South Africa, is looking for an Intermediate/Senior BI Developer to join their Durban team on a permanent basis, working in a hybrid structure.

We are seeking an experienced BI Developer with expertise in Azure Synapse, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, and Power BI. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining data solutions, performing data analysis, and providing insights to our clients.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and maintain data solutions using Azure Synapse, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, and Power BI.
2. Handle the delivery of data and information relating to the business intelligence of various clients.
