MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To take responsibility for and manage the Sisley counter efficiently and effectively, promoting business objectives as appropriate and ensuring that the brand is known for the Best Customer Service in the Industry. Ensuring that the counter achieve and exceed set sales targets by providing excellent customer service and being mindful in recruiting new customers to the Brand on a daily basis.

Responsibilities
  • Customer Service and Selling: To provide outstanding customer service by identifying customer needs as well as further sales opportunities, matching benefits to needs as appropriate, using knowledge of Sisley standards and products.
  • Ensure that the best levels of customer care are offered at all times, and that all customers are offered the opportunity to join the customer database, keeping the information confidential at all times.
  • Maximize sales and customer service during locally planned "on counter" events.
  • Continuously work towards achieving and exceeding set retail sales goals, using link and cross selling to introduce further products.
Technical Skills and Administration
  • Continuous monitoring of the business as well as appropriate analysis of results to recognize areas of opportunity and growth in order to build and impact on the overall business.
  • Build the business by achieving and exceeding sales targets, developing the business to increase sales volume and productivity by using product knowledge and Sisley\'s PARIS selling ceremony.
  • To ensure expert makeovers are offered and applied to Sisley\'s customers, meeting the required standards as well as demonstrating the necessary skill and variety in makeup.
  • Ensure expert skincare diagnoses are provided, meeting the required standards, and that in-depth information regarding fragrance products is provided as appropriate.
  • Timely and accurate reporting of retail sales results as well as prompt completion and distribution of relevant administration on a weekly/monthly basis.
  • Ensure that the Business Management File and Top SKU counts are kept up to date at all times. Always monitoring the SPREAD Targets (Axis split).
  • To ensure adequate stock levels as well as monitoring tester and sample usage as appropriate.
  • To effectively organize staff planning rosters, monitoring staff levels, holidays and sickness absence as well as reporting to Sales Manager as appropriate.
Other
  • Maximize all planned promotional events and drive optimum levels of activity in store.
  • To demonstrate commercial awareness of competitor activity and the ability to use this to business advantage; always ensuring market gain.
  • Explore new ways to build Sisley\'s brand awareness and link with companies outside the parameters of the store.
Personal Effectiveness, Motivation and Presentation
  • To demonstrate and encourage enthusiasm for selling, flair for the product and excitement for the brand; present an appropriate appearance, ensuring that personal as well as team grooming and make up is to Sisley\'s standards, adhering to the uniform and grooming policy at all times.
  • Encourage and maintain a clean, tidy, hygienic and professional work area, reflecting merchandising standards and guidelines at all times.
  • Successfully complete the Sisley Basic School as well as any further training provided as appropriate, demonstrating enthusiasm to participate and the ability to retain the benefits of training provided.
Teamwork, Communication and Relationships
  • To lead by example, motivating individuals as well as team performance to reach/exceed set targets, demonstrating reliability and flexibility as the business demands.
  • Effective liaison with Sales Manager, National Sales & Education Manager, Sisley head office as well as Store personnel.
  • To train and direct the team efficiently, organizing motivational and informative team meetings and briefings regarding products and procedures as appropriate.

Purpose of the Role

The purpose of the role is to provide an exceptional client experience to maximise sales and profitability; to ensure that operating standards are executed and maintained, and to build and enhance the retailer brand image.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maximise turnover, profit and productivity: Achieve monthly and annual sales targets; assist in setting up and driving sales at events/launches/retailer activities; provide feedback on sales/customer related issues or concerns timeously.
  • Brand Management: Monitor competitor activity, stay up to date with current industry trends; ensure hygiene and safety standards are maintained according to retailer requirements at all times; adhere to and maintain brand standards at all times.
  • Stock Management, Merchandising and Store Operations: Ensure that stock is merchandised according to merchandising guidelines; report out of stocks to line manager daily to drive sales and maintain an exceptional client experience; stock administration, stockloss prevention, stock level control and management; implementation and adherence to operating procedures and policies at all times; asset control and security; point of sale.
  • Customer Experience: Provide an exceptional and consistent client experience to all clients; uphold and reinforce the Client journey and experience standards; build relationships, loyalty and inspire confidence in clients by providing cosmetics services; use expert knowledge and skills when demonstrating products to clients; share tips and provide a personalised, educational experience; drive increased customer data base (attraction of NEW customers).
  • Teamwork: Work in collaboration with other colleagues and stakeholders to ensure a harmonious working environment, participate in and support all events and hold each other accountable; support and assist new team members with onboarding and orientation; ensure that exceptional, consistent standards are maintained; live the company values; conduct oneself with integrity at all times.
  • Administration: Daily tracking sheets/reports completed and submitted as required; implementation of CRM processes; retail reports and updates as required.
