Job summary

IOCO in Pretoria is seeking a Senior Back End Developer to design, build, and maintain secure back-end services for web and Windows applications. You will work with APIs, microservices, and DevSecOps practices to deliver scalable solutions.

You will collaborate with front-end teams and architects to implement robust server-side functionality using C#, JavaScript, .NET, and Node.js, while ensuring API security and high performance.

Qualifications

• Six+ years of experience in developing web and Windows applications.
• Experience with C#, JavaScript, .NET Framework/.NET Core and Node.js.
• Knowledge of microservices, API security, containerisation and DevSecOps.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain back-end components for web and Windows applications.
• Develop server-side functionality using C#, JavaScript, .NET Framework/.NET Core and Node.js.
• Design, develop and maintain APIs and application integrations.
• Contribute to microservices architectures and API security implementations.
• Develop reliable, scalable and maintainable services and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Identify defects and performance bottlenecks and contribute to CICD and DevSecOps practices.
• Maintain technical documentation and support production issue resolution.
