Connect Go, an AI-powered employee management platform, seeks a Senior Software Engineer for on-site work in Pretoria. You will design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs that power the platform, focusing on scalability, reliability, and security.

You will mentor peers, participate in architecture decisions, and collaborate with product managers and designers throughout the SDLC from planning to deployment.

Formación

• Strong foundation in Computer Science including algorithms, data structures, and software design principles.
• Proficiency in software development with experience building production-grade systems.
• Hands-on experience with backend web development, including APIs, databases, and microservices.
• Deep understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and related design patterns.
• Experience with Java, C#, Blazor, or similar languages.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and version control (e.g., Git).
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and mentor others.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in HR, compliance, or enterprise SaaS products is an advantage.
