About the Job
Peachtree Networks is seeking a motivated and strategic B2B Account Manager to join our Cape Town team. This on-site position plays a vital role in expanding our business within the Telecom and ISP sectors through strategic account management, international coordination, and business development. The successful candidate will cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, identify new business opportunities, and manage existing client accounts across domestic and international markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at client organizations.
- Build and maintain strategic business plans to support the growth of existing business.
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities and prospects within the Telecom and ISP sector.
- Negotiate with executive-level decision-makers and navigate purchasing cycles to close agreements and large deals.
- Manage all corporate-level contacts within target accounts at their key global locations.
- Coordinate ongoing and upcoming projects with functional teams such as Sales, Sourcing, and Supply Chain to maximize customer satisfaction and achieve business goals.
- Develop relationships with key personnel through personal meetings at all important corporate locations.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities.
- Work on business plan creation, customer account responsibility, and international coordination.
- Occasional international and domestic travel (up to 20%) is required.
Ideal Candidate
- 2–4 years of experience in B2B account management, selling to executives of large, international corporations.
- Experience in the IT / Telecommunications / refurbished equipment sector is a plus.
- Executive-level communication and presentation skills in English.
- Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally for up to 20% of the time.
- Proven track record of achieving revenue targets and driving growth.
- Strong knowledge of selling methodologies and account development.
- Experience working with customers on quotes, proposals, and solutions development.
- Proficient in CRM software, data analysis tools, and digital communication platforms.
- Ability to manage workload, priorities, and time efficiently in a fast-paced, professional environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders effectively.
- Languages: English required; French, Portuguese, Spanish, or Russian preferred.
