Job summary

A leading advisory firm in South Africa is seeking an experienced Senior B-BBEE Advisor to manage key accounts and provide compliance solutions. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Law or Human Resource Management
• Minimum 5 years' relevant B-BBEE work experience (as Verification Analyst or Consultant)
• Advanced knowledge of the B-BBEE Codes and Sector Codes (especially Construction, Financial Services, and ICT Sector Codes).
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
• Ability to work with financial statements and management accounts
• Planning and organisational skills
• Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet deadlines
• Confident ability to engage with clients and stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Client key account management
• Gap analysis, strategy development and implementation.

• Offer advisory and compliance solutions, ranging from B-BBEE Solutions, SETA-registered learnerships and Bursaries to client network.
• Assess data, verifying evidence and on-site reviews.
• Calculate preliminary scores and framework projections.
• Optimise advisory and compliance reports that advise clients where room for improvement exists.
• Facilitate the advisory and compliance process by verifying the authenticity, validity, and correctness of all documents submitted for verification.
