Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and integrate embedded software for automotive ECUs (Electronic Control Units) using C/C++.
• Implement software according to automotive standards such as AUTOSAR, MISRA C, and ISO 26262.
• Develop and optimize real-time operating systems (RTOS) for performance-critical applications.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to define hardware requirements and ensure seamless software integration.
• Perform code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing to ensure software quality, reliability, and adherence to specifications.
• Develop and maintain software architecture documentation, design specifications, and test plans.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex software issues in both simulation and vehicle environments.
• Participate in the definition of software requirements and contribute to the overall system design.
• Stay abreast of emerging automotive technologies and software development trends.
• Mentor junior software engineers and contribute to the team's technical growth.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in embedded software development, with a significant focus on the automotive industry.
• Expert-level proficiency in embedded C and C++.
• In-depth knowledge of automotive communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN, Automotive Ethernet).
• Experience with AUTOSAR architecture and development tools.
• Familiarity with functional safety standards like ISO 26262.
• Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and debugging tools.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (Agile, V-Model).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
