Placements24 is seeking a Senior Automotive Software Engineer to join a fully remote team based out of Centurion, South Africa. You will contribute across the full software development lifecycle to build cutting‑edge automotive software that enhances vehicle performance, safety and user experience.

Design and implement embedded software in C/C++, work with RTOS, CAN/LIN/Ethernet, and collaborate with hardware engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS, EE, or related field.
• 5+ years embedded software development in automotive.
• Strong C/C++ skills and RTOS experience.
• Familiar with CAN, LIN, Ethernet.
• Experience with Git.
• Excellent problem-solving and remote collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement embedded software for automotive applications, focusing on real-time systems.
