We are seeking an experienced and results-driven General Sales Manager to lead and manage the sales team within a high-volume automotive dealership.
The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, a proven track record in the industry, and the ability to drive performance across both new and used vehicle sales.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage, motivate, and develop a team of 8 sales staff to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Oversee and coordinate all sales activities across new and used vehicles.
- Implement and monitor sales strategies to maximize profitability and market share.
- Drive performance through effective coaching, mentoring, and continuous staff development.
- Maintain strong customer satisfaction and retention levels.
- Analyse sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
- Ensure compliance with dealership policies, manufacturer standards, and industry regulations.
- Report on sales performance to senior management, providing accurate forecasts and action plans.
Minimum Requirements :
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a sales management role within the automotive industry.
- Proven track record of success in both new and used vehicle sales management.
- Experience in managing and leading a team of at least 8 sales executives.
- Strong background in high-volume dealership environments.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to analyse data and drive strategic decisions.
