Job summary

A well-established auditing firm in Pretoria East is seeking an educated and experienced Audit Manager (CA) to lead and manage auditing engagements. The ideal candidate must be a qualified Chartered Accountant or soon to qualify for CA, possess strong knowledge in accounting principles and auditing standards, and have experience in an audit environment. This role involves managing a team, supervising juniors, client relationship management, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Salary ranges from R40,000 to R50,000 CTC per month.

Qualifications

• Professional Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) or soon to be qualified CA.
• Experience: Completed SAICA Articles in an audit environment.
• Transport: Must have own reliable vehicle for client visits.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage audit engagements ensuring compliance with auditing standards.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff while overseeing their work.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients and understand their business needs.
• Review the work of juniors ensuring adherence to quality standards.
• Identify audit risks and provide practical solutions to mitigate them.
• Draft and review audit reports and financial statements.
• Oversee resource management and audit budgets.
• Stay updated with changes in tax laws and auditing standards.
• Assist in identifying new business opportunities and preparing proposals.
• Continuously assess and enhance internal audit processes.
