Placements24 is seeking an accomplished Audit Manager in Richards Bay to lead audit engagements across diverse client portfolios. You will oversee planning, execution, and reporting while guiding audit teams and ensuring GAAS compliance within a hybrid work framework.

The role requires CPA/CA(SA) credentials and at least 7 years in public accounting, with strong leadership, communication, and client-management skills. Travel to client sites in the Richards Bay region is expected.

Qualifications

• CPA or CA(SA) qualification is required.
• 7+ years of public accounting and auditing experience.
• Proven experience managing audit engagements and client portfolios.
• Strong knowledge of auditing standards, internal controls, and risk assessment.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel to client sites within Richards Bay region.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and finalize financial audits for clients across various industries.
• Manage and mentor audit staff, providing guidance and performance feedback.
• Ensure compliance with GAAS and relevant regulations.
• Communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients and senior management.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
