Job summary

Craft of Architecture (COA) is seeking a Senior Architectural Technologist to join our design-led Woodstock, Cape Town studio. You will take ownership of projects from design development through construction, ensuring high-quality delivery and compliance across municipal submissions and consultant coordination.

We value a technically strong, detail-oriented professional with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in architectural documentation and project delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in architectural documentation and project delivery.
• Strong detailing and documentation skills.
• Able to work independently and within a project team.
• Knowledge of municipal approval processes and construction documentation.
• ArchiCAD proficiency is advantageous.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly capable Senior Architectural Technologist to join our dynamic, design-led practice based at our Woodstock, Cape Town studio. This role is suited to a technically strong, detail-oriented individual who can take ownership of projects from design development through to construction, ensuring high-quality delivery and compliance.

Requirements:

• Professional registration with SACAP is desirable but not a mandatory requirement.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in architectural documentation and project delivery.
• Proficiency in ArchiCAD would be advantageous but is not essential
• Strong technical detailing and documentation skills.
• Thorough understanding of municipal approval processes and construction documentation.
• Ability to work independently and within a project team.
