A leading architecture firm based in Stellenbosch seeks a Senior Architectural Technologist to oversee and manage various architectural projects. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Architecture, 5+ years of experience, and be registered with SACAP. Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years' experience after post-graduation.
• Registered with SACAP.
• Advanced knowledge of council documentation and submission process.
• Advanced in Revit; certification preferable.
• Complete B+P Revit Assessment with 80% minimum.
• Strong knowledge of council documentation and submission.
• Advanced knowledge of detailing, construction docs, site admin and PM.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Plan and organize workflow to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

Hire Resolve is currently recruiting for a Senior Architectural Technologist to join a leading architecture firm based in Stellenbosch.

As a Senior Architectural Technologist, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing architectural projects from inception to completion. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and other professionals to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge and experience in documentation and construction of large-scale mixed use and complex commercial buildings
• To produce sketch illustrations in Revit in line with the Architect’s brief for a variety of projects.
• To produce and co-ordinate council submission documentation, both SDP and Building Plans
• Produce working drawings, co-ordinated with other disciplines.
• Attend site meetings and quality control inspections.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor construction on behalf of Architect.

Requirements

• Minimum Batchelors (Honors) or NQF 7 or 8 (Architecture) Qualification
• Minimum of 5+years’ experience (After Post grad)
• Registered with SACAP
• Advanced in use of Revit (certification of such preferable)
• Complete B+P Revit Assessment with minimum 80% score
• Advanced knowledge and history of council documentation and submission process
• Advanced knowledge of technical detailing and construction documents
• Advanced knowledge of site administration and project management
• A high standard of communication skills and attention to detail required
