Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking a Senior Application Developer (Angular) for a contract position in Cape Town. You will design, develop and deploy programs aligned with specifications and collaborate with the development team to deliver robust software solutions.

You should have a tertiary IT qualification and 5+ years of experience with HTML/CSS, Angular, PHP and SQL databases, plus proficiency in source control management. Experience with SDLC/ALM is a plus.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Computer Science and/or Software Engineering and/or Information Systems and/or Information Technology and/or related technical certification in an IT field
• Minimum of 5 years experience as an application developer
• Proficient in HTML and CSS
• Experience with Angular and PHP
• Experience with SQL Database and stored procedures
• Proficient in Source Code Management applications

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy programs for program specifications
• Construct and implement application programs
• Construct/develop programs including coding, testing and debugging
• Ensure documentation of code/classes
• Designing application prototypes
• Coordinate application plans with the development team or clients
• Adhere to Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) methodologies and processes
• Design, develop and deploy eLearning solutions that meet the Departments needs and optimize efficacy through training and support
