Placements24 is seeking a Senior AI Research Scientist to join our client in Sandton, Gauteng. This role focuses on advancing deep learning and machine intelligence, conceptualizing and deploying novel AI models to solve real-world problems.

You will work with world-class researchers, publish in top venues, mentor juniors, and contribute to AI strategy. Requirements include a PhD or Master's in a quantitative field, strong DL framework experience, and proficiency in Python, C++, or Java.

Qualifications

• PhD or Master's in CS/AI required with strong research record.
• Publications in reputable venues preferred.
• Expertise in DL frameworks TensorFlow, PyTorch or Keras.
• Proficient in Python, C++, or Java.
• Experience with large-scale data processing and distributed systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cutting-edge research in DL, RL, NLP, and CV.
• Design, implement and evaluate advanced AI algorithms.
• Publish findings in top conferences and journals.
• Mentor junior researchers and share knowledge.
