Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior AI Engineer specializing in MLOps to design, deploy, and operate scalable ML pipelines. The role is remote, with base in Randburg, Gauteng, ZA, offering flexible work arrangements.

You will build and manage CI/CD for ML models, orchestrate training and inference infra, and ensure production-grade monitoring and security across cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Significant experience in software engineering with a specialization in MLOps or DevOps for machine learning.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, or Java.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their ML services.
• Strong understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible).
• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills for a remote environment.
