Placements24 in Randburg, Gauteng is seeking a dedicated Senior Afrikaans First Additional Language (FAL) Teacher for a respected secondary school. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons, assess progress, and prepare learners for external examinations.

The ideal candidate has a relevant degree, a PGCE, SACE registration, and at least four years of high school Afrikaans experience, with strong command of Afrikaans and CAPS familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Afrikaans, Education, or related field.
• PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• SACE registration with the South African Council for Educators.
• Minimum 4 years of high school Afrikaans FAL teaching experience.
• Excellent command of Afrikaans (written and spoken).
• Familiarity with the CAPS curriculum for Afrikaans FAL.

Responsibilities

About the Role

Our client, a respected secondary school in Randburg, Gauteng , is seeking a dedicated and proficient Senior Afrikaans First Additional Language (FAL) Teacher. This role is critical in developing learners' proficiency in Afrikaans, enhancing their communication skills, and fostering an appreciation for the language and its culture. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and preparing them for external examinations. Key Responsibilities

• Teach Afrikaans First Additional Language (FAL) to learners in various high school grades.

Requirements
