Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on labour law matters, including litigation and arbitration.
• Handle conflict and grievance resolutions between employees and management.
• Interpret employment contracts and agreements, offering guidance on collective bargaining.
• Support health and safety and employee wellbeing initiatives within the motor industry.
• Maintain daily planning and administrative tasks.
• Travel extensively and on short notice as required.

Qualifications

• LLB Degree or equivalent.
• Three years’ experience in Labour Law and/or litigation.
• At least two years’ experience in arbitrations.
• Good command of Afrikaans and English.
• Computer literacy with basic knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Word, and Outlook.
• Advanced understanding of employment contracts and agreements.
• Experience in a trade union environment (advantage).
• Knowledge of motor industry structures (advantage).
• Valid driver’s licence.
