Job summary

Eskom Holdings SOC Ltd seeks a Senior Advisor Prof Project Development X4 to drive pre-feasibility and business planning for new capacity projects and upgrades. Based in Sunninghill/Megawatt Park, you will interact across disciplines and prepare feasibility studies and business cases for senior management.

You will coordinate documentation, mentor young professionals, and contribute to project development governance within a permanent, on-site role at Eskom.

Qualifications

• Four years related experience in project management and/or project development environment.
• Bachelor level degree with NQF7 360 credits; professional registration with ECSA or SACPCMP preferred.
• Familiarity with PMBOK, project lifecycle models, and environmental/OHS regulations.
• Strong analytical, budgeting, and financial decision-making capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Research new capacity concepts
• Conduct pre-feasibility level analysis of potential capacity projects
• Compile feasibility studies and business cases
• Interaction with other disciplines and management of interfaces, business requirements and queries, problems, etc.
• Coordinate and prepare documentation related to project development deliverables
• Provide training and development
