Network Recruitment is seeking a Senior Actuarial Analyst - Insurance Pricing based in Midrand, Gauteng. You will develop pricing models, analyze data, and provide pricing insights to support underwriting and product development.

The role requires 5+ years in actuarial pricing, progression towards or completion of actuarial exams, and strong skills in R, Python, and SQL. You will mentor juniors and ensure regulatory compliance while staying current with industry trends.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years actuarial experience in insurance.
• Progress towards or completion of actuarial exams (ASISA).
• Strong proficiency in statistical modeling and programming.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and quantitative skills.
• Experience in insurance pricing and reserving techniques.
• Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to diverse audiences.
• Proven ability to collaborate across departments and mentor juniors.

Responsibilities

• Develop, refine pricing models for insurance products.
• Forecast claims costs using historical data and market trends.
• Conduct profitability analyses and identify key drivers.
