About the Organization A leading regulatory authority in Saudi Arabia is seeking seasoned actuaries to serve as Senior Advisors / Experts across various insurance business lines.

The organization plays a pivotal role in shaping the national insurance landscape — defining strategic priorities, setting market direction, and ensuring that actuarial practices align with international standards and the Kingdom's long-term vision for sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the strategic development of actuarial policies, frameworks, and methodologies across assigned insurance lines.
  • Define and implement actuarial strategies supporting market growth, stability, and sound risk management.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor in formulating sector-wide strategies related to pricing, solvency, reinsurance, and capital adequacy.
  • Review and challenge actuarial submissions from insurers to ensure regulatory soundness, consistency, and sustainability.
  • Establish actuarial standards and contribute to the design of risk-based capital and solvency frameworks.
  • Benchmark actuarial practices against international standards and drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with policy, supervision, and risk teams to align actuarial strategy with broader regulatory objectives.
  • Advise on emerging risks — including healthcare inflation, demographic shifts, natural catastrophes, and economic cycles.
  • Mentor and upskill internal actuarial talent, embedding a culture of technical excellence and strategic foresight.
Requirements
  • Minimum years of actuarial experience within mature or international insurance markets (western markets).
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related quantitative field.
  • Fellowship qualification from a recognized actuarial body (e.g., FSA, FIA, FCIA, etc.).
  • Strong expertise in pricing, reserving, solvency modelling, and risk management.
  • Deep understanding of global actuarial standards and regulatory regimes.
  • Demonstrated leadership and advisory capability at senior or regulatory levels.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
