We are currently searching for an experienced and highly analytical Senior Accountant to join our Technical client's accounting department, Boksburg.

Position Info

The ideal candidate is a team player with a strong understanding of Syspro and has experience in the OEM / Manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements including monthly and annual accounts.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Oversee general ledger functions and manage accounts payable / receivable.
• Conduct regular ledger reconciliation and assist in budget preparation.
• Analyze and report on financial status and risks.
• Optimize financial processes for better efficiency and accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with accounting and fiscal regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field.
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within the OEM / Manufacturing industry.
• Strong management experience.
• Solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures, including Syspro ERP system.
• Experience managing multi departments / complex business structure.
